  WORST experience at this winery. All the other wineries in Rutherglen were so friendly, but skip this place. A rude, condescending blonde woman told my boyfriend she was cutting him off (even though it was only the second winery we had visited) as he had 'had enough'. He had barely had anything to drink and I was the designated driver! We told her so but she continued to humiliate him in front of other patrons. She was clearly on some kind of power trip, just felt the need to be nasty to someone. Avoid at all costs!

  We visit here regularly, and we've joined the wine club. All the wines are lovely, and you get a nice welcome when you visit. Winery walkabout weekend is probably not the best time to judge, it gets crowded and service becomes quite basic. The Tokay is one of the best. If you get a chance to do a private tasting in the cellar, make that happen.

  If you're on a bender and looking for a free top up find somewhere else if you're after sensational wines drop by Mount Prior their Durif 2012 is a stunner and great value !. I'm sure you'll enjoy a true wine experience.
